Output Description
Mixed Model Normalization
Running this process for the DrosophilaAgingExample sample setting generates two output data sets accessed from a Results window shown below. Refer to the Mixed Model Normalization process description for more information about this process.
The Results window contains the following panes:
Output Data
This process generates the following output data set:
• | Output Normalized Data Set: The output data set (identified by the appended _norm suffix) recapitulates the input data set with the normalized values replacing the raw input values. This data set can be used as input for a wide variety of analytical processes. |
Note: You should visually evaluate the results of this process using the Distribution Analysis process before using the normalized data in subsequent analyses. See Evaluation of Normalization Methods for a comparison of the different normalization methods with the sample data.
General
• | Click to reopen the completed process dialog used to generate this output. |
• | Click to close all graphics windows and underlying data sets associated with the output. |
Summary Statistics
Finally, an .html file listing summary statics for the normalization process is generated and surfaced (not shown).
