Running this process for the Nicardipine sample setting generates the Results window shown below. Refer to the Rank Rows process description for more information.

Output Data

This process generates one data set:

Output Data Set: In this data set (identified by the _drk suffix) the values in the specified columns have been replaced by the relative ranking of each observation within that variable (except when New Variable Names have been specified. In that case the original columns are preserved).

Example output appears below. The new column is highlighted.

Note: This process displays SAS Labels of output data set columns. Therefore, the new column appears with “Rank for Variable AGE” (its automatically generated SAS Label) instead of its “AGE_GROUP” SAS Name, displayed.
