Marker Units
The distance value specified here corresponds to the number of markers separating each pair of markers. If zero, then all markers are used to define the nearest neighbor samples. This distance is dependent on the other options specified.
When the option to Select Neighbor Markers with strongest LD within Baseline Unit is checked, the value specified here is the maximum distance between a pair of markers in order for the LD to be computed for that pair.
However, when the option to Select Neighbor Markers with strongest LD within Baseline Unit is not checked, the value specified here is the maximum distance between the tagged marker for which to impute missing genotype and the neighboring markers that are used to determine the nearest neighbor samples to sample with missing genotype.
To Specify Marker Units:
8 | The Markers option must be selected as the Baseline Unit. |
8 | Either type the desired value into the text field, or move the slider to the right or to the left to change the value. |
Tip: To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select from the pop-up menu. Change the upper and/or lower boundaries in the window that appears, to rescale the slider and click .
