Affymetrix SNP CEL Input Engine
Running this process for subset of the Chromosome X Titration data set generates the Results window shown below. Refer to the Affymetrix SNP CEL Input Engine process description for more information.
The Results window contains the following elements:
Output Data
This process generates the following data sets:
Experimental Design Data Set (EDDS) : This data set lists specific information about experimental details for each of the arrays. Refer to Experimental Design Data Set (EDDS) for more information about this data set.
Output Data Set : This data set contains the data from the different .cel files. This data set is in the tall format: the intensity data from each array are listed in a separate column while individual spots are listed in rows.
CEL Header Data Set : This data set contains all the parameters in the header portion of each Command Console .cel file. These parameters include the algorithm applied, the type of chip used, the program applied, and other quality control information among the control l probes . The parameters are listed in columns, while the individual .cel files are listed in rows.
Quality Control (QC) Data Set : This data set is generated from QC data found either in a supplied QC Control File or in the . cel files themselves. It contains values for assessing the data quality for each of the spots on the arrays using the Pseudo Image process. This data set, which is identified by the __qcbp suffix, is in the tall format: the QC data from each array are listed in a separate column while individual spots are listed in rows. Note : This data set is generated only when QC data is included in the input data.
Probe Map Data Set : This data set lists the specific x and y coordinates of each spot on the arrays. This data set, is identified by the __pbmap suffix, is needed particularly for assessing data quality using the Surface Summary and Pseudo Image processes.
Note : You can view the data in a file or data set by clicking either Open or View Subset (when the data set is very large).
