Density Smoothing Bandwidth Multiplier

Use this option to enter a positive number, between 0 and 3 , that is used to fine-tune the smoothness of all of the computed density estimates.

The default value of 1 represents moderate smoothness. Higher numbers increase smoothness. Lower numbers decrease smoothness.

Note : This option is activated only when the Overlay density estimates box is checked.

To Specify a Density Smoothing Bandwidth Multiplier:

Make sure the Overlay density estimates box is checked.

Either type the desired value in the text field or move the slider to the right or to the left to change the value.

Tip : To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select Rescale Slider from the pop-up menu. Change the upper and/or lower boundaries in the window that appears, to rescale the slider and click OK .
