Feature Variable

Use this field to specify the variable that distinguishes different features in your experiment. For example, in a microarray experiment, feature variables might include genes or probesets .

To Specify the Feature Variable:

Specify an Input SAS Data Set .

All of the variables in the input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable that lists the features of interest..

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Feature Variable field, as shown below:
