Key Variables for Merging

Use this field to specify the variables by which to merge the files.

These variables must be present in all of the tall data sets selected for merging.

If this field is left blank , all of the rows are merged directly with no sorting or matching of variables.

To Specify One or More Key Merge Variables:

Specify the First Tall Data Set .

All of the variables in the specified input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable(s) whose values are to be used to label points in the output plots. To highlight multiple variables at once, hold down Ctrl while left-clicking on them.

Click to add the highlighted variable(s) to the Key Variables for Merging field, as shown below:
