Mean Difference Filter Cutoff

Use the field/slider to specify a cutoff for the X -axis variable displayed in the Volcano Plot s formed for the statistical tests requested (for example LSMeans differences or tests formed with ESTIMATE statements ) in order to further select significantly interesting hypothesis tests .

Important : Values entered should be positive values indicating the magnitude of the cutoff. The Direction of the Cutoff parameter can be used to specify the direction of the cutoff.

To Specify a Value for the Cutoff:

Check the Add Mean Difference filter to select significant tests box.

Either type the desired value in the text field or move the slider to the right or to the left to change the value.

Tip : To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select Rescale Slider from the pop-up menu. Change the upper and/or lower boundaries in the window that appears, to rescale the slider and click OK .
