Color Variable Type

Use this parameter to specify whether the variable chosen for defining label color is nominal (categorical) or continuous.

Available options are described in the following table:

Option	Select this Option when:
Nominal	The Color Variable is a character variable or numeric with few distinct levels (less than 10). Each value is assigned a color.
Continuous	The variable is numeric continuous. A continuous color scheme is used. Note : You must also specify the Number of Legend Levels .

To Specify the Color Variable Type:

Select the variable type by clicking within the appropriate radio button.
