Variables to Retain in Output Data Set

Use this field to specify the additional variables to be added to all of the output data sets. These variables are in addition to other specified variables, which are kept by default.

Caution : Keeping all of the variables can result in large output data sets when the input data set contains a large number of columns and/or columns with large lengths.

To Specify One or More Variables to Retain:

Specify the Input SAS Data Set or Input K Matrix Data Set (whichever is available).

All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight one or more variables. Left-click a single variable, or hold down Ctrl while left-clicking multiple variables.

Click to add the highlighted variable(s) to the Variables to Retain in Output Data Set field, as shown below:
