Weighting Method for Sibships

Use this parameter to specify the method for dealing with sibships containing more than two affected individuals.

Available methods are described in the table below:

Method:	Specify this method to:
treat all sibpairs as independent	Apply no weight to the tests.
apply Suarez weights	Specify the application of a weight of 2/ a where a is the number of affected siblings in the sibship (Suarez and Hodge, 1979), to all the affected sib-pairs from a sibship.

Note : If all sibships are of size 2, the methods are equivalent.
