Grouping LOD Threshold

Use this option to specify a threshold for the grouping value of the estimated recombination fraction. This specification is required when using the Transitive Grouping method.

This option is available only when Transitive Grouping has been selected in the Choose a linkage grouping method option.

The value specified here is used to determine the number of linkage groups.

Linkage groups are formed by assigning a marker to a group only when the marker has a LOD greater than or equal to the value specified here with at least one marker already in the linkage group. If a marker is not linked to any markers in a linkage group based on this value, then that marker is placed in a new linkage group.

To Specify the Grouping LOD Threshold:

Make sure that Transitive Grouping is specified as the linkage grouping method

Click in the text field and enter the desired value.
