Custom Track Variable

Select a numeric variable from your data set to be used in custom track construction.

Note for the UCSC Genome Browser Link process: A .txt file is created that can be uploaded to the UCSC Genome Browser to display the custom track.

Note for the Affymetrix Integrated Genome Browser process: A .bed file is created that can be loaded into the Affymetrix Integrated Genome Browser to display the custom track.

If no variables are specified here, no custom track is created.

To Specify a Custom Track Variable:

Specify an Input SAS Data Set on the Create Web Link Table tab.

The Available Variables field is populated with variables from the specified data set.

Left-click a variable from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the selected variable to the Custom Track Variable field.
