If this field is left empty , one of the following names are applied, depending on the process:
• The name of the Input SAS Data Set with the _exp.sas7bdat suffix appended (for the Create a Design Data Set from an Existing Data Set process)
• The specified name of the Output Experimental Design Data Set concatenated with “ _data ” (if applicable)
• The name of an appropriate input file (specified in a field with the form “ Input X File ”, where X is the process root name)Note for Create a Design Data Set from an Existing Data Set : The .xls extension only works for Windows servers. If you specify a format other than .sas7bdat , you must manually save the resulting JMP table as a .sas7bdat file using File > Save As .Note for Affymetrix Exon and Whole Transcript Expression CEL Input Engine : If this field is left empty , and your CEL files are from a WT-Gene or Exon array, another data set named by concatenating the Output Data Set name with “ _sp ” is created for keeping the single probe data without associating it to any probeset .Caution : Names longer than 32 characters are truncated.For detailed information about the files and data sets used or created by JMP Life Sciences software, see Files and Data Sets .
