Start

Select a variable indicating the gene start position.

To Specify a Start Variable:

Specify an Annotation File to activate the field.

The Available Variables field becomes populated with variables from the specified file.

Left-click a variable from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the selected variable to the Start field, as shown below:
