Specify the
alpha
value for constructing confidence limits at each point in the
overlay plot
for the
mean
of the two groups. Confidence equals 1 -
alpha
/2. The default value is
0.05
, but since the limits are not currently adjusted for multiplicity, you might wish to set
alpha
considerably lower than this to provide better protection against false positives.
