Color Variable

Use this field to specify a variable by which to color the plots. In the Basic Linkage Mapping Workflow , this variable is used to color markers in the order plots and linkage map viewer.

To Specify a Color Variable:

Specify an input data set (an Annotation SAS Data Set in the Basic Linkage Mapping Workflow ).

All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight (left-click on) one variable.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Color Variable field, as shown below:
