GenBank Accession Variable

Use this field to specify the variable that contains the accession numbers of the genes, markers, or probesets in the input data set. It is used to make the web search link to GenBank, UniGene, Onto-Express, and GOStat if specified.

Each row must contain only one accession number.

Caution : Multiple accession numbers per row results in broken generated web links.

To Specify the Accession Number Variable:

Specify the Annotation SAS Data Set .

All of the variables in the specified annotation data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable that lists accession numbers of the markers.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the GenBank Accession Variable field, as shown below:
