Gene or LocusLink ID Variable

Use this field to specify the variable containing the identifiers used to generate web links to the Entrez Gene database. Each row should contain one Gene or LocusLink ID.

Caution : Multiple Gene or LocusLink IDs per row results in broken generated web links.

To Specify the Gene or LocusLink ID Variable:

Specify the Annotation SAS Data Set .

All of the variables in the specified annotation data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable that lists gene or LocusLink identifiers for each of the genes.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Gene or LocusLink ID Variable field, as shown below:
