Color Variable Type

Use this parameter to specify whether the variable chosen for defining label color ( Color Variable ) is nominal (categorical) or continuous .

Available options are described in the following table:

Option:	Select this Option when:
Nominal	The Color Variable is a character variable or numeric with few distinct levels (fewer than 10). Each value is assigned a color.
Continuous	The Color Variable is numeric continuous. A continuous color scheme is used.

To Specify the Color Variable Type:

Specify an Annotation SAS Data Set to activate the Color Variable field.

Specify a Color Variable to activate this field.

Select the Color Variable Type by clicking within the appropriate radio button.
