Double center multiplicatively

Select this option to center each row and column by subtracting the product of the corresponding row mean and column mean.

To Specify This Option:

Click within the check box.

Note : If you do not check this option but check both Center Rows and Center Columns , then each row and column are centered additively. For some data matrices, double centering is equivalent to subtracting the first principal component .
