Standardize variables before clustering

Select this option to standardize the variables prior to clustering .

During standardization , each column is scaled and centered to produce Z -scores. This method is equivalent to Data Standardize normalization with Method= STD . This option subtracts the mean for each column and then divides by the column standard deviation .

To Specify This Option:

Click within the check box.

Note : This option cannot be used when the Impute missing values for clustering check box is checked.
