Class Covariates

Use this field to specify classification variables to use as additional regressors in the model .

For each level of these variables, numeric indicator variables of 0s and 1s indicating class membership are constructed when necessary.

Note : The specified covariates are not used in the predictor reduction processes but are included as covariates in the model.

To Specify One or More Class Covariates:

Specify the Input SAS Data Set .

All of the variables in the specified input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight one or more variables to be used as additional regressors. To highlight multiple variables at once, hold down Ctrl while left-clicking on them.

Click to add the highlighted variable(s) to the Class Covariates field.
