Cluster Effect Type Use this feature to specify how to model the cluster effect when estimating treatment differences. Available options are described in the table below: Criteria Description Fixed Restricts inferences on the observed clusters. Random Allows generalization to a population of similar clusters. Also borrows strength across all clusters, including those that do not contain observations from both treatment arms.
