Create ColumnName

The Create ColumnName process is a JMP Scripting Language (JSL) script that creates and populates a variable called ColumnName , required for files that are to serve as experimental design files (EDFs) needed for import and analysis of data by JMP Genomics.

What do I need?

The file to which the ColumnName variable is to be added must be open and in focus before you open the Create ColumnName process. A typical EDF is shown below.

The AffyLatinSquare_Design.txt file was generated as described for the Create Design File Template process. To illustrate the Create ColumnName process, the ColumnName column was cleared.
