Weight Variable

Use this field to identify the variable that contains the sampling weights.

This variable must be numeric , and the sampling weights must be positive numbers. If an observation has a weight that is non-positive or missing, then that observation is omitted from the analysis.

To Specify a Weight Variable:

Specify the Input SAS Data Set .

All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight a variable.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Weight Variable field, as shown below:
