Use genetic map to simulate linkage

Check here to simulate progeny genotypes while accounting for genetic linkage between markers.

When this option is checked, linkage between markers located in the same chromosome is accounted for when simulating gametes. Otherwise, gametes are simulated assuming that all markers are independent one from another.

Note : Simulating gametes while accounting for linkage between markers is more realistic and should be pursued whenever possible. However, the time required to run large simulations while accounting for linkage can increase considerably when compared to the running the simulation using independent markers.
