Data File Type

Specify file type when the raw data file extension is not .csv , .sas7bdat , .txt , .xls , or .xlsx . Otherwise, leave empty .

This feature ensures correct interpretation of the files when the field delimiter is not obvious from the extension. Options include:

•	Comma Separated - commas are used to delimit fields.

•	Space Delimited - spaces are used to delimit fields.

•	Tab Delimited - tabs are used to delimit fields.

To Specify a Data File Type:

Click one of the file types from the drop-down menu.
