Position Variable

Specify the position variable , whose values serve one of the following purposes, depending on the process:

•	Index the order of observations for binning.

•	Indicate position on a linkage group or chromosome , or genetic position.

When this variable is specified along with a Chromosome Variable (where available), -log 10 p-value results are plotted by chromosome and position.

To Specify a Position Variable:

Specify an Input SAS Data Set .

The Available Variables field is populated with variables from the specified data set.

Left-click a variable from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the selected variable to the Position Variable field.
