File Containing Estimate Statements

Specify the full path and name of the text file containing ESTIMATE statements that are valid for the Fixed Effects model that you have specified. You can create such statements with the Estimate Builder process, which assists you in constructing custom hypothesis tests in the form of SAS PROC Mixed ESTIMATE statements.

Note : ESTIMATE statements create custom hypothesis tests that are separate and in addition to any LSMeans Effects specified. Output Volcano Plot s from ESTIMATE statements are titled beginning with “Estimate of” while LSMeans differences volcano plots are titled beginning with “Diff of”.

To Specify a File Containing ESTIMATE Statements:

The method used for this specification can vary depending on whether JMP is connected to SAS on your local machine or connected to SAS on a server. You should refer to the Specifying Folders, Files, and Data Sets documentation for detailed information.

If the data set does not already exist, click Estimate Builder to open the Estimate Builder process.

Click Open to view the contents of the file in JMP.
