This process registers a new SAS server profile for connecting to a SAS Metadata Server.

What do I need?

You must supply the following information to run this process:

•	A profile name,

•	The server machine name,

•	The port number for the server, and

•	Your user name for connecting to the server.

Note : If you desire, this process can store your server password. If you choose not to enter it in this process dialog , you must enter it when you connect to the server with the Select SAS Server Profile process.

Output/Results

The SAS server profile is registered. To use it, run Select SAS Server Profile .
