Annotation Variables to Keep

Use this field to specify the additional annotation variables to be added to all of the output data sets. These variables are in addition to other specified annotation variables, which are kept by default.

If you leave this field blank, then all variables in the annotation data set are kept.

Note: You should exercise caution when selecting variables to keep. Keeping all of the annotation variables can result in large output data sets when the annotation data set contains a large number of columns and/or columns with large lengths.

To Specify One or More Annotation Variables to Keep:

Specify the primary Annotation SAS Data Set.

All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Left-click on a single variable, or hold down Ctrl while left-clicking on multiple variables, in the Available Variables field.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Annotation Variables to Keep field, as shown below:
