Distribution of Data

Use this option to indicate the type of distribution for data within the specified By Variables.

Note: Beta, Exponential, Gamma, Gaussian, Lognormal, and t distributions are not suitable for count data.

To Specify This Option:

Select the appropriate distribution using the drop-down menu.

Note: If the selection is left blank, a Gaussian/Normal distribution is applied to continuous data while a Poisson distribution is applied to count data.
