Test for HWE

Use this parameter to specify the type of test to be performed for HWE.

Available tests are described in the table below:

Select	When you want to:
Asymptotic	Report p-values calculated using the chi-square distribution.
Exact	Perform an exact test using the distribution of genotype counts conditioned on the allele counts (Wiggington, et al., 2005).
Permutation	Evaluate the significance of the chi-square statistic using Monte Carlo permutations of the alleles while holding the allele counts constant.
None	Suppresses output HWE plots. Note: P-values are still computed and listed in the output data set.
