The specified trait variable defines a dichotomous trait. This variable can be either character or numeric, but it must have only two values (in addition to “missing”).When this option is specified, the last ordered category is designated as the value of the event (SAS syntax: trait(EVENT=LAST)).The analysis is performed using either SAS PROC LOGISTIC (when no random effects are specified) or SAS PROC GLIMMIX (when random effects are specified).
