Genotype to code as 2 for the Trend Test

Select the genotype to be coded numerically as the value 2 for the trend test.

Note: The other homozygous genotype is coded as 0. The heterozygous genotype for both selections is always coded as 1.

Note: If genotypes are already coded numerically, it is assumed that 2 represents homozygous for the minor allele and 0 represents homozygous for the major allele. Thus, selecting Homozygous for Major Allele will reverse the current coding.

To Specify the Genotype Coding

Make sure that the Calculate trend odds ratios box is checked.

Select the desired genotype coding format by clicking within the appropriate radio button.
