Chromosome ID

Use this field to specify the variable identifying the chromosome for each marker. Chromosome identifiers can be either character or numeric values. Values do not need to be sorted.

Note: The levels of this variable must be grouped together.

To Specify a Chromosome ID Variable:

Specify the Annotation SAS Data Set.

All of the variables in the specified annotation data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable whose values identify the chromosome number for each marker.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Chromosome ID field, as shown below:
