Computing a selection index requires both one or more scoring code files and the specification of a list of numerical values indicating the weights for the traits entering the selection index. Each of the Scoring Code Files must have a numeric weight value specified in the List of weight values for the selection index option. The weight for each trait is used with the Scoring code files to compute an index value for each individual.
