Variables to Keep in Output Data Set

Use this field to specify the variables to be retained in the output data sets.

By default, the Marker ID Variable, the Parent 1 ID Variable, the Parent 2 ID Variable, and the Individual Variables are retained, along with variables that are created during analyses. Use this option to specify any additional variables that you want to include in the output data set.

Caution: Keeping all of the variables can result in large output data sets when the input data set contains a large number of columns and/or columns with large lengths.

To Specify One or More Variables to Keep:

Specify the Input SAS Data Set.

All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight one or more variables. Left-click a single variable, or hold down Ctrl while left-clicking multiple variables.

Click to add the highlighted variable(s) to the Variables to Keep in Output Data Set field.
