A settings (.sas) file defines a display track for a set of genes to be added to JMP Genomics statistical results like plots of -log10(p-value) along chromosomes. Settings files are generated from text files downloaded from sources like the Table Browser of the UCSC Genome Browser using one of the Track Creation processes under the Genome Views menu. A settings file can then be selected as a track file for embellishing graphics with depictions of genes. For detailed information about the files and data sets used or created by JMP Life Sciences software, see Files and Data Sets. The method used for this specification can vary depending on whether JMP is connected to SAS on your local machine or connected to SAS on a server. You should refer to the Specifying Folders, Files, and Data Sets documentation for detailed information.
