Automated Linkage Group Clustering Method

Select a method for joining clusters to form linkage groups via hierarchical clustering. Different algorithms might work better than others depending on your data.

Methods are described below.

Method	Defines clusters based on:
Average	The average distance (recombination rate) between pairs of markers from different clusters. This method is specified by default.
Complete	The maximum distance (recombination rate) between a marker in one cluster and a marker in a different cluster.
Single	The minimum distance (recombination rate) between a marker in one cluster and a marker in a different cluster.

To Specify a Method:

Click the drop-down button to reveal the list of choices.

Click on the desired method.
