Annotation Group Variable

Use this field to specify the variable whose values are used to group the observations into logical annotation categories, such as chromosomes or metabolic pathways.

To Specify an Annotation Group Variable:

Specify the Primary Annotation SAS Data Set.

All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight a variable.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Annotation Group Variable field, as shown below:
