Number of Variables to Process at a Time

Use this option to specify the number of variables to process at one time.

For certain distance metrics, the total number of variables is too large to process together as a unit. Distance matrices for the units are then added together, enabling computations on very wide data sets that might otherwise run out of memory.

If your data set contains missing data and has more variables than the size specified here, the final computed distance matrix is an approximation to the full distance matrix, depending on the missing data patterns.
