Continuous Variables

Use this field to specify numeric continuous variables with which to construct principal components.

Caution: Specifying a very large number of variables can prohibitively increase execution time.

To Specify One or More Continuous Variables:

Specify the Input SAS Data Set.

All of the variables in the specified input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight one or more variables to be used to construct principal components. To highlight multiple variables at once, hold down Ctrl while left-clicking on them.

Click to add the highlighted variable(s) to the Continuous Variables field.
