Metric

Specify the metric you want to use when computing distances between groups.

Your choices are described below:

Metric	Definition
Linear	Choose Linear if there is a common, pooled, covariance matrix for the groups.
Quadratic	Choose Quadratic if each group has its own covariance matrix. Note: You should choose this metric only if the number of observations in each group exceeds the number of predictors.
Regularized	Choose Regularized as a compromise method. Note: This option is available only in Interactive Mode.

To Specify the Metric:

Select the desired metric by clicking within the appropriate radio button.
