File Type

Specify the file type here when the file extension is not .csv, .sas7bdat, .txt, .xls, or .xlsx. Otherwise, leave this field empty.

This feature ensures correct interpretation of the files when the field delimiter is not obvious from the extension. Options include:

•	Comma Separated - commas are used to delimit fields.

•	Space Delimited - spaces are used to delimit fields.

•	Tab Delimited - tabs are used to delimit fields.

To Specify a File Type:

Click one of the file types from the drop-down menu.
