Use this field to indicate variables whose values form the suffix of names for the columns in the output data set.
Note the following important points:

If you specify no By Variables, the concatenated values of ID Variables must be unique across all rows.

If you specify By Variables, the concatenated values of ID Variables must be unique across all rows within each unique combination of By Variables.
|

If you leave the ID Variables field blank, the variables are named using ascending positive integers appended to the value specified in the Prefix field.
|
All of the variables in the input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.
|
Scroll through the Available Variables field to find the desired ID variable(s).

Left-click to highlight a single variable. Hold down the key while left-clicking to select multiple variables.

|
Once you have selected ID variables, click the
 button to add them to the ID Variables field. |
