Imputed SNP Import Tutorial
One of the most important steps in analyzing your data with JMP Genomics is to generate the necessary data sets needed for a particular process in the appropriate format. Unfortunately, this step is very unforgiving. If you do not get this step correct, nothing else works. It is crucial to take the correct steps at this time to make sure your output data set is formatted and normalized correctly.
In addition to this documentation, JMP Genomics provides a set of tutorials illustrating how you can import different types of data from a variety of sources. The Imputed SNP Import Tutorial is an interactive JMP journal that is available in the Genomics > Import > Other Genetics submenu.
What do I need?
One of the following is needed: IMPUTE, MACH, or BEAGLE data file sets.
The dialog consists of a brief description and three action buttons. These buttons correspond to three commonly used genotype imputation software applications.
