Constant Stress Accelerated Life Test Designs

Designs for Accelerated Tests

Use the Constant Stress ALT platform to create a constant stress accelerated life test (CSALT) design. A CSALT test plan is useful when product reliability at normal use conditions is high. The Constant Stress ALT platform enables you to design accelerated life tests with up to three accelerating factors and to easily explore trade-offs among multiple plans and assumptions. Use an accelerated life test plan to define a testing strategy to test the product under constant stress conditions that are more severe than normal use conditions to accelerate the time until failures occur. Use this accelerated failure data to predict product reliability at normal use conditions.
