Fractional Factorial Designs

In the Screening Design platform, the Design List contains designs that accommodate your factor settings. Design types include two-level full and fractional factorials, Plackett-Burman, Mixed-Level (Taguchi), and Cotter designs. Select the type of screening design that you want to use and click Continue.

The Design List contains the following columns:

Number of Runs

Total number of runs in the design.

Block Size

Number of runs in a block. The number of blocks is the Number of Runs divided by Block Size.

Design Type

Description of the type of design. See Design Type.

Resolution

Gives the resolution of the design and a brief description of the terms that are estimable. See Resolution in Screening Designs.
